Putting a Shine on a Compelling Cover & More

Marketing updates: My publisher, WildBlue Press, is in the process of revising the cover of Greg Scarpa, Legendary Evil to include the Independent Author Network’s Book of the Year finalist medallion in a nice conspicuous spot. The current, and perhaps final, iteration is on the left. I gotta admit – it looks good! It dresses up what in my view was an already first-rate cover with a bit of eye-catching affirmation from the larger reading world. As mentioned earlier, WildBlue Press has also added the book to their list of “Award Winning Titles” on the home page of their website, giving the book a nice prominent position on the web. Anything that makes the book stand out in a vast sea of other fine books is more than welcome.

On a different marketing note, last week I appeared on Vic Ferrari’s podcast. Vic is a former NYPD officer turned author. He’s also a great podcast host – knowledgeable, prepared, analytical, and funny. Recording the episode with him was a real pleasure and it should be available starting on Thursday, December 4th. I’ll post a link when it drops, as they say. In the meantime, check out Vic’s Amazon Author Page for his books and Apple Podcasts for his podcast.
