Dyer’s eclectic body of writing includes four more works of fiction: A String of Beads, Dyer’s latest release, a collection of 27 short stories about growing up in a deeply dysfunctional household during the 1960s; Let Me Explain, a coming-of-age novel that draws heavily on Dyer’s adolescent years at a New England prep school; The Holy Lance, a 21st century thriller that combines espionage with a dose of fantasy; and Judging Paradise, a post-modern existential novella heavily influenced by the works of two of the author’s favorites, Albert Camus and Joseph Conrad.
