It has been more than a year since I completed the first draft of my Greg Scarpa biography. I received an offer of publication a couple of months later. I declined the offer for reasons of my own, reasons that had nothing to do with the prospective publisher. Two weeks ago, WildBlue Press reached out to me inquiring about the book’s status. I was surprised and delighted to hear from them. I let them know the book was still available and I was ready to proceed with publishing it. The result is that Greg Scarpa, Legendary Evil will be published!
As a result, I’ve been producing marketing materials required by the publisher since they contacted me. The editing process will begin soon. I think the manuscript is in good shape, and I’m looking forward to seeing what their in-house editors come up with to improve it. We should have an anticipated release date soon. I’ll post that once it’s available. And once the artwork for the cover has been agreed on and finalized, they’ll start making the book available for pre-orders.
All in all, this is an exciting development, and one that I had not really anticipated. Stay tuned!
