Even though the book is currently only available for prerelease orders as an eBook, this week, Greg Scarpa, Legendary Evil reached #1 on Amazon’s “Hot New Releases” of organized crime biographies. Not a bad start. The release date is still set for 10 days from today, on July 22nd. In the meantime, work on the audiobook version, the interior layout, and the paperback cover continues. The book’s publisher, WildBlue Press, has the title listed on its website under “Coming Soon” and “True Crime,” and its my understanding that the podcast episode I recorded with True Crime Talk will drop, as they say, late next week in anticipation of the release.
Each day brings a new development, and each new development brings us closer to the wide release of the book. To say that I’m stoked about how this process is unfolding would be an understatement. I’ve been working toward this moment for longer than I care to admit, and being so close to such a personally important milestone is gratifying indeed.
